Giza Pyramids / The Sphinx / Saqqara Pyramids

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your Egyptologist for a full day tour of Giza and its environs.

Your tour will start with a visit to:

Giza Pyramids: You will visit the pyramids and Sphinx of Giza, located on the outskirts of Cairo, and considered amongst the seven Wonders of the World. The Great Pyramids are over 4500 years old, and are massive in size, with some of the blocks weighing in excess of two and a half tons each.

Camel Ride: No trip to Egypt would be complete without a camel ride at Giza Pyramids. So you will have an opportunity to mount your individual camel for a short ride across the sands of Giza to the Sphinx.

The Sphinx: Enter the temple of the mysterious Sphinx, an ancient figure shrouded in legend and mystery. Your Egyptologist will enthrall you with the tales told of this fascinating figure.

After Lunch we will visit:

Saqqara Pyramids, the necropolis of Memphis, home of the step pyramid, the first limestone structure ever built. Explore its 4350 years old colored tombs. Get the chance to go inside a pyramid and see the ancient Hieroglyphics that have been engraved on its walls for thousands of years. Your tour will include a visit from inside Saqqara pyramids. Then drive back to your hotel.

Grand Egyptian Museum / Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali

After Breakfast you will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest museum in the world for one single civilization. You will stand face-to-face with the Golden Mask of the boy King Tutankhamun. You will be dazzled with the number of treasures and artifacts that this museum holds. Afterwards a visit to the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Situated on the summit of a centuries-old citadel, this is a fine example of an Ottoman-era Mosque. Lunch in one of the best Local restaurants in Cairo.

Full day to Alexandria

After Breakfast drive to Alexandria, to enjoy amazing Day Trip to Alexandria from Cairo. First, visit Pompey's Pillar. It was constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivalling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then drive to visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria, then proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs (lighthouse) of Alexandria then, to Bibliotheca Alexandria. Temple of Philae / Unfinished Obelisk / Nubian Village

· After breakfast on-board.

· Visit Isis Temple, you take a motorboat ride to the Temple of Philae, beautifully located on an island. The temple was built in 208 BC and dedicated to the goddess Isis.

· Visit Unfinished Obelisk, the largest-known ancient obelisk, lying on its side in a stone

quarry. It measures around 140 feet tall and weighs nearly 1,200 tons.

· Lunch onboard.

· Felucca on the Nile around Kitchener Island.

· Take a motorboat ride through the cataracts of the Nile to a Nubian village. There you will meet the Nubians and visit their homes and local school to experience their way of living. Back on board the cruise ship.

· Enjoy the Nubian party featuring traditional music and folk dances on the cruise.

Abu Simbel Temples / The Aswan High Dam

· Back to the cruise ship, on the way you stop to see the High Dam of Aswan.
